Snacks of Maui, Hawaii - Krispy Kreme donuts, Huli Huli Chicken, Ululani's Hawaiian shaved ice, Mana Food's vegan organic flourless cookies, and spam musubi!

We spent some time on beautiful Maui, and here's a few of the things besides gorging ourselves silly on fresh fruit and local fare, which I'll post up in the next little while. Some memorable ones were Krispy Kreme donuts - hey, we don't have these up here in Canada! Amazing roadside Huli Huli Chicken, Ululani's shaved ice, and a local fav.. spam musubi. Didn't have time to try a bunch of the local poke salads, but that will be on my list of things to do the next time we're in Maui!

Snacks of Oahu, Hawaii - Spam musubi, coconut pie, green tea icecream mochi, bacon sundaes, Fumi's and dole pineapple whip!

Well, we have to snack and not just eat out all the time! So I've compiled some of the random and tasty salty, sweet, crunchy, savory, smooshy, indulgent and occasionally heart stopping (or stop in your tracks) snacks we noshed our way through to fuel ourselves while swimming, eating, snorkeling and exploring the beautiful island of Oahu

Marukame Udon, Oahu Hawaii - quick bowl of freshly made ramen, but avoid the onsen tamago egg

Rating Udon 6/10, Onsen Tamago egg 0/10
There's line ups out the door almost every night at this cafeteria style udon stand that makes their udon fresh everyday. Curious, we joined the line up for lunch and watched through the open kitchen the orchestrated chaos that goes into making a bowl of udon. Staff are friendly, if rushed, and we joined the melee at Marukame Udon.
