I know, we haven’t seen each other for a while, but even though I’m only up for the weekend, I came to see you. Holy Smoke, you make some wicked smoked meats, all sandwiched between some nice sweet buns! ;) Heehee! Yes, while in town, I had to drop by and pick up some delicious smoked meaaaaat! After one taste last time, we had to come back!
My cousin went with the epic Manwich, a big pile of chopped up melt in your mouth tender beefy fatty (but not too fatty) beef brisket…
…crowned with a big pile of savory rich and fatty pulled pork… all topped with a bit of coleslaw, special sauce and a pickle!
My boyfriend went with his all time fav – a large beef brisket sandwich with lots of the tender smokey awesome pulled brisket topped with a pickle
I went with the Chick n’wich… and don’t’ be fooled by the fact its white meat. It’s a hefty sandwich, packed so full of large chunks of pulled chicken it spills out!
The chicken had a nice light smoke to it, and though a touch on the dry side, a squirt of sauce and the coleslaw its topped with is an easy remedy.
I barely had room to pick at the homemade red potato salad. It had a good burst of acidity from chopped up pickles and a good shot of pickle juice, and helped ease my full tummy full of meat.
And finished off with a refreshing homemade lemonade… as we rolled out the door. Till we meat.. err meet again!
